Ed Sluga, PGgrowth’s Program Director, is one of Canada's most experienced Planned Giving professionals. For over 15 years, he has helped hundreds of organizations from across the country develop and benefit from long-term, sustainable and proactive fundraising and Planned Giving programs. Focusing on developing organizational structures and operations so that they are positioned to experience success for the long-term, Ed's chief motivation is helping organizations achieve the goals of their mission within their communities.

Colleen Bradley, PGgrowth’s Program Support Manager, began her career with Royal Trust, specializing in the area of will & estate and investment planning. At Royal she guided her clients through the will planning process, offered investment advice that helped them achieve their financial goals, and consistently exceeded the annual new business target of 15 million dollars.

Mary Singleton, PGgrowth’s Program Coordinator, has been a team member at The Hilborn Group since 1998. Her interest in fundraising (and newsletters!) was piqued as a youngster when she helped the local Lions Club establish a Leo Club division for teens wanting to become involved in community service.

Jim Hilborn is a widely-published chemical engineer-turned-publisher who has combined an early background in industry with studies in philosophy to the Masters level, extensive charity volunteerism, and over 45 years in technical and business information services.  Marie Lizotte Marie Lizotte

Marie Lizotte, PGgrowth's Marketing Director, Eastern Ontario, began her planned giving experience at McGill University in 1990. By combining “donor relations” and planned giving expertise, she developed relationships with donors across Canada and the United States which continue to this day.

As a founding member of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP), she assisted Centraide (United Way); University of Montreal, UQAM (Universite du Quebec a Montreal);and many others in establishing their planned giving programs.

Ken Ramsay Ken Ramsay

Ken Ramsay, one of the most experienced planned giving professionals in North America, is President and CEO of both Legacy Leaders and Philanthropic Alliance Group, a company dedicated to providing creative means to secure bequest commitments for Canadian Charities. Ken was long time Chair of the Canadian Association on Charitable Gifts. He was the founding Chair of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners and has lectured and taught extensively on Gift Planning in Canada and the United States. Ken has spoken frequently at AFP, NCPG, AHP, and CAGP events throughout North America.

Paul Nazareth has spent over a decade seeking to empower Canadians to create legacy gifts to their most beloved charities. He has served on the board of the Canadian Charitable Annuity Association and been a volunteer with the Canadian Association of Gift Planners locally and nationally for ten years. In 2010  his team won an international award for best Catholic planned giving program. Paul is currently Manager of Philanthropic Advisory Services with the Scotia Private Client Group and a faculty member at the Georgian College national fundraising program teaching the online planned giving course.

Guy Mallabone

Guy Mallabone, MA, CFRE, is an internationally recognized leader in the philanthropic profession – as a consultant, volunteer, teacher, presenter and practitioner. He has worked as a professional fundraiser since 1980 in the Arts and Social Services sectors, as well as Higher Education … serving as the Chief Development Officer at the University of Alberta and most recently as the Vice President and Chief Development Officer at SAIT Polytechnic. He currently serves as President and CEO for Global Philanthropic, an international fundraising consultancy advising non-profit organizations large and small.
